Every stump is different. When we visit you for the initial assessment, you will roughly know how long the work will take. It depends on the size of the stump, the complexity of the root system, where it is located within the yard and so on.
This again depends on the size and location. If the spot only needs to be covered in rock or concrete, then the mending can be very quick. Grass or other plant growth requires a bit more time. But the enhanced safety (elimination of a potential place for pests and parasites, danger of trips and falls) is immediate.
Stumps can be removed at any time when the ground is not frozen and access is not hindered by snow. Typically, 9 months of the year.
